About Pineville Fence Builders
A locally owned fencing contractor serving Pineville and Central Louisiana — built on straight talk and work that holds up through humidity, heavy clay soil, and Gulf storm season.
Who We Are
Pineville Fence Builders is a locally operated fencing contractor serving residential, agricultural, and commercial customers throughout Pineville and the broader Rapides Parish market. We're based on the east side of the Red River and cover the full sweep of Central Louisiana — from the older neighborhoods around Main Street and Donahue Ferry Road, across the bridge into Alexandria's MacArthur Drive corridor, out to the cattle ranches and timber tracts around Boyce, Forest Hill, and Deville.
Our work covers the full range of fence types — cedar privacy and pressure-treated pine, wrought iron and aluminum ornamental, vinyl and chain-link, post-and-board and no-climb horse fence, code-compliant pool fencing, plus commercial perimeter systems. Repair work on storm-damaged and aging fences gets the same care as new installs when full replacement isn't necessary. Every job is treated with the same attention to detail regardless of whether it's a single backyard run or a multi-acre cattle perimeter.
Central Louisiana creates specific demands for outdoor structures: heavy clay soil that holds water for weeks after a wet stretch, hurricane-strength wind events tracking up from the Gulf, year-round subterranean termite pressure, intense UV that fades unprotected finishes inside a single summer, and pine pollen and sap from the Piney Woods that stains anything porous. Our installation methods account for all of it — proper post depth in bell footings, ground-contact-rated lumber, hot-dip galvanized hardware, and construction techniques chosen to perform in this environment for the long term.
How We Work
Honest Assessments
We tell you what the fence actually needs — not what generates the highest invoice. If a section repair will hold up as well as a full replacement, we'll say so instead of pushing the bigger job.
Quality Materials
Western red cedar, ground-contact-rated pressure-treated pine, powder-coated iron and aluminum, UV-stabilized vinyl, and hot-dip galvanized hardware sized for the job — not the cheapest option a supplier sends out.
Clean Workmanship
Posts plumb, panels flush, gates that swing level. The details that determine how long a fence really lasts through Louisiana humidity and storm season don't get skipped on our jobs.
Direct Communication
You deal with the same people from estimate to completion. If something changes mid-project — a buried line, a drainage issue, or a root ball from a longleaf pine — you hear about it before we proceed, not on the final invoice.

What Our Clients Say
Cedar privacy fence around the backyard off Donahue Ferry Road. The crew dug deeper than I expected and ran a kickboard along the slope so the pickets never touch dirt. Two summers of Central Louisiana humidity later and there's no warping, no sagging gates, no green stain on the bottom rails.
We needed a powder-coated aluminum pool fence for the new build off MacArthur Drive — code-compliant with self-closing gate and the right picket spacing. They handled the parish permit, passed inspection on the first walk-through, and the finish hasn't faded after a full Louisiana summer.
Three-rail post-and-board with no-climb mesh down the long property line off La Highway 1207. Posts went in below the wet clay layer and corners are braced the way they should be. Cattle haven't pushed through and the line still runs true after a hard rainy season.
A bad thunderstorm took down a long stretch of vinyl behind the house off Twin Bridges Road. They reset the leaning posts in proper concrete footings instead of patching what was already failing, and color-matched the panels close enough that you can't see where the new run starts.
